We’re rolling out two new tools that have been in the works for several months that we know you’re going to love. Especially if you’re the type of person that likes to stay organized, hates repetitive tasks, and enjoys getting things for free. The video editor trifecta.
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Lesspain software who make the Kyno app, the most intuitive media management tool we’ve ever used, and we’re dropping a special edition of it with every new Jellyfish that goes out, and we’re making it available as a free upgrade for existing customers with an active support plan. How’s that for an October surprise?
But wait… there’s more.
We’ve also developed a killer app that we’re calling Jellyfish Media Engine which is like a video transcoding swiss army knife/organization tool/media browser that runs right on your Jellyfish and can be accessed from anywhere. With thousands of you working from home right now, we think this is going to be a game-changer. We’ve been using it internally on projects and now we can’t live without it.
We’re super excited to launch these two new tools and you can expect to start using them later this year.
Kyno For Jellyfish - Let Metadata Set You Free
Kyno for Jellyfish is a media management and production assistance tool that allows teams to organize and filter entire media libraries using rich metadata, custom tags, and ratings. You can also batch transcode or apply LUTs before you’re even in your NLE. Kyno directly integrates with your editing software so the clips you already tagged and modified arrive in your project organized and ready to be found.
Jellyfish Media Engine - Next Level Proxy Workflow
Jellyfish Media Engine leverages the processing power of your Jellyfish to generate proxies for your offline or remote workflows. Access proxies locally, or remotely, and then link them to your project. Switch to proxy mode in your editing software and enjoy smooth playback regardless of your connection speed. Jellyfish Media Engine gives your team that extra level of flexibility we could all use while remote, or in the office. It also supercharges indexing and provides the best Kyno experience you’ve ever seen.
We're so excited about the launch of these two new tools and we'd love to share more info with you. Reach out to our workflow consultation team and we'd be glad to see if these new additions to the Jellyfish line will help out your team!
