Keep Your Gear Safe When Traveling With Pelican’s New Fleet of Products

Pelican recently introduced three new products for keeping your costly professional gear safe when on the road. Let's take a look.

Let’s take a look at a whole new fleet of products just announced by Pelican which expands the brand’s coverage beyond their usual hard cases into new backpacks, duffels, suitcases, and more.

Pelican AEGIS Travel Pack

This new travel pack from Pelican is set to offer innovative protection designed for efficient travel. With an outer shape and design inspired by Zeus’ legendary shield, the new Aegis collection is tailored to safeguard all of your belongings with superior strength and style.

This travel pack in particular looks to be quite slim and lean, yet packs a protective punch with its Pelican Shield technology and its hybrid material build. The travel pack provides quality construction and the protection of a hard case, but with the versatility of a soft case.

Pelican ATX Suitcases

Along with the travel pack above, Pelican has also unveiled a new suitcase design. The ATX suitcases are an evolution of the company’s classic hard cases. And it’s easy to see the influence as they match the same general shape and are similarly waterproof, dustproof, and crushproof.

Yet, this ATX suitcase is different with its proprietary HPX polymer resin material and its Hinomoto Multi-Directional 360° Spinner Wheels that promise even more functionality than the wheels found on older hard cases.

The ATX suitcase is set to come in multiple colorways and size options, allowing owners to carry up to 90L of gear while weighing from 12.1 to 20.5 lbs.

Pelican AEGIS Series Rolling Duffels

Pelican has also dropped the news of a series of HYBRID AEGIS rolling duffels. These duffels are set to have the Pelican Shield EVA Compression Molded front lid, but will be softer on the sides and back to help achieve a more lightweight feel.

These rolling duffels are set to come in multiple color options, along with size options of 22”, 28”, and 32”—the smallest of which can be used as a carry on for your flights. They’re also set to fit an impressive 50L, 90L, and 120L, while still weighing substantially less than the ATX cases.

The rolling duffels will also have an easy-access, wide-body opening for convenient packing and unpacking. Plus, they feature both external and internal quick-access zipper pockets, along with interlocking YKK zippers let you lock your bag for extra security.
