Recommended 10G Network Settings (macOS)
In order to get the most out of your 10G connection, your network settings need to be set appropriately.
Our recommended network settings for a 10G connection on Mac are:
- Configure: Manually
- Speed: 10GBaseT
- Duplex: full-duplex
- MTU: 9000
Make sure the box is unticked for AVB
These settings can be found in System Preferences -> Network -> [Network Interface] -> Advanced... -> Hardware
Please note that not all 10G adapters allow the same settings to be set manually. What you see available may vary from what is shown above.
