OWC to Participate in Hollywood Professional Association 2018 Tech Retreat Conference Programming
OWC will take part in panel discussion of project budgets, asset management and streamlining of post-production workflow.

OWC®, a leading zero emissions Mac and PC technology company, will be participating at the Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) 2018 Tech Retreat, taking place February 19-23 in Palm Desert, CA. Senior technical, creative and executive leaders in the digital cinema, film, video and production industries gather at the annual event to explore the latest content advances and trends.
The five-day Retreat draws senior production executives from around the globe and includes seminars, panel discussions and round tables to explore new technologies and trends in the world of video production and delivery.
OWC will take part in the panel “The Project Budget War: Views from Both Sides and In-Between”, which is scheduled for Thursday, February 22 at 4:30pm. Moderating the panel will be Andy Marken of Marken Communications, and participants will include Larry O’Connor of OWC, filmmaker Cirina Catania of The Catania Group, producer Aaron Semmel of Semmelboomboom and Jeff Stansfield of Advantage Video Systems. The group will explore how the industry can improve budget and deadline control with enhancements during the production, post-production workflow phases with the latest hardware and software enhancements in the rapidly evolving field.
