OWC®, a leading zero emissions Mac and PC technology company, will serve as a SuperHero Sponsor and provide technology equipment for the Cabarete Kite Festival. The seven-day event will run Monday, July 9, through Sunday, July 15, in Cabarete, Dominican Republic. The event will include kiteboarding competitions, surf sessions, seminars and networking and will be hosted by professional kiteboarder and environmental activist Susi Mai.

The production team at Cabarete will be utilizing the OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual external hard drive and ThunderBay 4 external storage unit to store their video content and still footage during the course of the event. Professional kiteboarders from around the world will compete in every style of kiteboarding throughout the course of the event, and photographers and videographers will be able to safely download and save dozens of terabytes of competition content to the OWC components.
