More than 50 golfers came to the Woodstock Country Club on a perfect fall day Oct. 2 to participate in the Adult &Child Rehab Center "Tee to Tea " golf outing and tea party fundraiser. Low-cost, premier national Internet Service Provider (ISP) OWC.net helped the cause, as OWC.net Executive Spokesperson Rikki Lee Travolta volunteered to be one of four celebrity caddies auctioned off for the afternoon.
Also volunteering their caddying services at the fundraiser were local notables American Community Bank Vice President Dan Dreher; Adult & Child Rehab Center Speech Therapist Chris LaCivita; and Stanley Steemer Grayslake Branch manager Adam Grossen.
More than $1,000 was raised in the golf caddy auction. Figures were not yet available on the event's total funds raised.
