The event will be held at Murmrr in Brooklyn, NY on January 11, 2020.

The Vimeo Festival and Awards is a celebration of a year of incredible storytelling from the world’s best creators, brands and businesses, including the Vimeo’s 2019 Best of the Year honorees. The event will feature screenings, live directors’ commentaries, panel discussions as well as an awards celebration, where the 2019 Staff Picks Best of the Year award recipients will be named. The 2019 Best of the Year award categories include: Best Branded Content, Best Brand Story: Large Business, Best Brand Story: Small Business, Best Action Sports, Best Animation, Best Comedy, Best Documentary, Best Drama, Best Experimental, and Best Travel. OWC Founder and CEO Larry O’Connor will join Vimeo’s Derick Rhodes in a session called “Get your workflow Flowing” where they will discuss the ins and outs of video creation in the context of data management. Derick and Larry will dive into the latest in production-grade SSDs and external hard drive technology to help filmmakers and producers understand how to tailor workflow solutions for their project. Additional panel topics throughout the event include: brand identity through video, transitioning from a short film to a feature, and navigating the artistic process.
