OWC's Environmental and Social Service Commitment
Whether through its LEED Platinum Certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) headquarters in Woodstock, IL, or its current fundraising campaign with charity: water, OWC strives every day to make a difference both at home and afar. OWC's on-site wind turbine can produce up to 1.25 million Kilowatt-Hours of energy in a year. In the month of October, OWC produced 92,367kWh, versus 66,802kWh consumed, resulting in a 38% net energy production that was put back on the grid – enough to power an average neighborhood of about 40 homes.
