Other World Computing Drops Prices Up to 20 Percent On Nearly
Every FireWire Product in OWC’s Line of Storage Solution Products

Other World Computing (OWC) today announced that it has dropped its prices up to 20 percent on every FireWire-based product in OWC’s line of storage solutions.
The price cuts affect products in OWC’s Elite FireWire 800/400 + USB 2.0/1.1 Combo line, its Elite FireWire 400 + USB 2.0/1.1 Combo line, its Mercury On-The-Go lines (both FireWire and FireWire + USB Combo), as well as its lines of Mercury CDRW + USB 2.0/1.1 Combo and Mercury Pro DVD-R/RW FireWire + USB 2.0/1.1 Combo storage solutions.
For example, the greatest percentage price drop (20 percent) is found in OWC’s Mercury On-The Go FireWire storage solution at 60Gigabytes operating at 5400RPM with 16Megabytes of RAM. The new price is $279.97, down from $349.97.
Each of the Mercury On-The-Go storage solutions includes a FireWire cable, an AC power adapter (drives may also be bus powered), Intech HD SpeedTools, and a one-year OWC warranty. Price cuts on the OWC Elite FireWire 800/400 + USB 2.0/1.1 Combo line are as high as 12.5 percent, as found in the new $349.99 price (formerly $399.99) for the 200GB 7200RPM OWC with 8MB of RAM. Each of the OWC Elite FireWire 800/400 + USB 2.0/1.1 Combo storage solutions come equipped with a FireWire 800 cable, a FireWire 400 cable, a USB cable, Intech HD SpeedTools and a two-year OWC warranty.
